A Failed Escape was formed in August of 2002,  playing in a garage in the metropolis of Fulton,Indiana. Writing their own music and recording live demo's from inside the garage, they built a fan base amongst friends. They played their first show at a New Year's Eve party to bring in 2003,  and ever since then have played as many shows as they can. "Yea, we played a Bar Mitzvah for a jewish teen back in March of 2003" states singer Queen Elizabeth, "I ain't never seen nothin like that before!!!!" And when drummer Ruben Hakenspogle, was asked what times he remembers most about last year "My favorite time was at our Sept. 21st show at the defloration party of this girl I went to highschool with in Logansport, Indiana....probably one of the best turn outs for a show we've played so far. We set up in her room, and the bass player took her virginity while we played our set."

A Failed Escape has been doing a lot of shows in the past year and 2 since they started, and gave tribute to their anniversary show at The Loft in Logansport, IN with thier #1 on the Bilboboard Charts with "365 Days"  documenting the last years events as a band together, a kick ass night of music with a kick as in your face metal band also from Logan called Tragic Mistake  www.freewebs.com/tragicmistake  , and also on that night released their first full length CD titled "Feeding The Animals Plastic" which will never go platinum, and may never leave the house of the fans in fear that someone may find out they own an A Failed Escape CD.....could you imagine the embarrassment?
